I'm having a lot of trouble with my sleeping habits.. ?!


Question:

I'm having a lot of trouble with my sleeping habits.. ?

Usually I go to SLEEP around 5-6am. I go to sleep that late/early cause i can't fall asleep because i take naps everyday cause i'm tired cause i didn't go to sleep until early in the morning.
its a vicious cycle of being tired and not being able to fall asleep.
now its starting to interfere with my plans. like this morning i was going to go to the gym at 9:30 for a pilates class. Apparently my dad yelled and yelled and yelled for me to get up, but i just screamed at him to leave me alone and let me sleep. he said that he told me that i need to get up to go to the gym and i told him that i didn't have to go when i really did. i don't remember any of these things that i did this morning. i also set my alarm clock..which i dont think went off. i'm not sure. but i'm positive that i set it..i remember setting it.
i've been doing this and missing things for the past few days now.
what can i do to stop this and just sleep normally?! Its making me mad. but i just can't stop sleeping this way.

I'm pretty sure that I can't do sleeping pills either..my parents probably wouldn't buy them for me.


Answers:

You know the problem. You just wrote about it. Now fix it. You have to break the vicious cycle of sleeping during the day, and not sleeping at night. Start today, and no matter how tired you are, don't take any naps. Do whatever you have to do to stay awake. You will sleep tonight.
