Head injury and concussion question? ?!

Question: Head injury and concussion question? ?
if i had a head injury a long time ago, and got a concussion does it make sense that the doctor told me i have a higher chance of getting concussions from head injuries now? and in order to get a concusson dont you need to get hit in the back of the head? i was hit in the front from close to my left temple to above my right eye

Answers:

Once you have a concussion, you are more likely to get another, which can be worse. Most concussions happen from side-to-side because there is less room for the floating brain to move in.

Concussions happen when the force of a blow causes the brain to slam into the inside of the skull. This causes swelling, which compresses the brain cells, destroying them. You could also rupture blood vessels causing pressure, too.

I was hit in the same place and had all the symptoms of a concussion. You are more likely to receive more concussions now.
