I'm due to have varicose vein surgery on both legs on the 17th July any advice ?

I have 3 children to look after so got no chance of resting !! Ive got to do the school run as usual on the 18th !! Can anyone tell me what i have to expect ? My husband cant get anymore time off work to help me !!

The doctors have been stripping out varicose veins as routine surgery for the past 40 plus years. There is absolutely nothing to make you any different than the hundreds of thousands of people that have had this done before you.

Just follow the after-care instructions you will receive. When you have to be up on your feet, keep it for short periods only for a couple of days. Wear your pressure hose. And make sure to guard against infection.
