FINGER PROBLEMS!!! please help me!?!
Question: FINGER PROBLEMS!!! please help me!?
last year, before summer, i broke the end of my ring finger on my left hand. the break was called a mallet finger where the tendon had come off the bone... i got a splint and now (almost a year later) it is perfectly fine. i can move almost just aswell as before i broke it and i never get pains. BUT after i have played guitar, the joint keeps clicking. i cant hear it but i feel it when i clench my fist and then straighten it... after 5- 10 mins it then stops and it doesnt crack.(by the way... it doesnt hurt)
when the splint was removed, it cracked even when i didnt play guitar, it has got better. but
is this normal?
has the bone not fully healed yet?
will it stop?
please reply because i am a serious guitarist and im worried it might affect my playing in the future.

I rocomend you talk to an upper body physio and until then take it easy you might do permenant damage to your obviously very important finger.
I did the same thing to my pinkey three years ago and it does the exact same thing but my pinkey is curved a little out of place so if yours is like that then of course its going to pop
