Question: Burned my ear with a flat iron!?
Okay so last night my friend was straightening my hair, i guess she wasnt paying attention.. and the straightener CLAMPED on my cartilage. It was clamped for like 5 seconds until I screamed. You could hear the skin sizzling, ew!
So I iced it and put this cream on it for burns (my dads a fireman so he has a buncha stuff like that)
Today when i woke up, my ear was enlarged, and part of it is WHITE like really white. Skin is peeling, and it stings to the touch.
Any reccomendations of what i can do ...?

Oh, don't you hate it when that happens! I burned my tummy once when I dropped it! Watch your ear very closely fo sign of infection, draining, swelling, increased pain. I hope you did the first thing last night of putting ice on it. Generally this type of burn will heal with no treatment than above. Ask your father to look at it and if he is fireman he should have enough medical knowledge to see that it is healing. If it is not, please se a Dr.
