Have you ever had a cortisone shot?
What for? How many can you get in a lifetime? How effective was it? What did your doctor try before going with the shot?
Answers:
I've had a Lumbar Sympathetic Block which is somewhat similar to cortisone shot, but it is a different medication injected, and it's also injected into my nerves. I've had 5 of them before to try to help with my pain from Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (in my right leg, but the injection was done in my lumbar spine, into the nerves that go to that area). The shots were effective, but only lasted a week or so. Besides physical therapy these were my first interventions to my RSD/CRPS.
