You know this surgery is very common in china as the Chinese people want to be taller. Any time you have surgery you will have pain after wards. So be prepared. They will cut your leg leaving it like a puzzle.{One bone longer and one bone shorter} It won't be straight across. They will do that so the pieces will fit back together exactly. You will be fitted with pins and a suspension device that will help keep the space apart. The doctors can adjust your leg if needed. You will be in bed for awhile until there is enough growth and then you will be allowed to start standing and then you will go onto crutches. You recovery will depend on how much they need to lengthen the shorter leg. Yes, If I was in your position. I would have it done.Think of all the things you can't do and think of all the things you will be able to do..

the question is, why is there a difference? in most cases all or part of any leg difference is the product of muscle imbalance from nerve interference. look into getting this problem corrected first before you make a big mistake with irreversible consequences. see an hio method upper cervical specific chiropractor.

I think I've heard of this surgery before. It won't hurt because you will be put under general anesthesia. I believe what they do is just take out part of you bone on the longer leg, then use pins and such to reattach the bones.
