The top of my wrist hurts, I can't flex it down !!?!

Question:

The top of my wrist hurts, I can't flex it down !!?

about 4 days ago my right wrist start to hurts, I can't recall getting hurt.

it only hurt on the top of the wrist, I'm able to move my fingers and it does not hurt, I don't have any swelling or redness neither.

it hurts a little when I flex the wrist from side to side or up
but the worst pain is when I try to flex it down. I'm UNABLE to flex the wrist down.

what can it be ? PLEASE HELP !

Answers:

It's a sprain - cease and desist time on the computer/working with your hands and get a brace and put ice on it. It's been 4 days so I would actually alternate between ice and heat. Ice for the swelling you can't see.. heat to relax the muscles.

If you don't take it easy it will just extend your recovery time.
