I've just started working out with my boyfriend and I'm about the most unfit person ever, so after the past week of running laps and lifting weights, I'm horribly sore, especially my legs/upper arms.

I was goofing around with a bunch of other people and got hit really hard in the shoulder, and now I cannot move it all without the muscle feeling like I'm tearing through it. I was just wondering if I should just ice it and shut up or if I might have really injured my shoulder.

you got too much lactic acid build up... Take some juice add a pinch like a quarter of a teaspoon of Baking soda to the juice and drink that 2 time a day. it will remove the lactic acid buildup and you pain will go away. Also soak in some slat water and then take a Aleve or aspirin or Feverfew to assist with the swelling and pain. Go slower on your workout until the pain is gone.
