Hit my head and bleeding?!

Go to the ER. Put a blanket on if you are shaking at all. Something similar happened to me and a paramedic insisted that I go to the hospital because it was a head injury. If it was on another part of your body I'd say you're fine to stay home, but even if the bleeding stopped you should go to the ER. You'll probably get a minimal amount of stitches if any.

clean it up and apply tape to hold it together so you will have minimal scar later. In the Army we would use tape and or super glue to close a wound, very minimal and not in the wound but on the outer skin alyer. Common sense.. You should be fine but if it opens and continues to bleed go get a couple stitches. but usually pressue and time will heal it.

Probably nothing to worry about. The fact that you hit your head leaves you needing to monitor yourself. If you begin to experience headaches, nausea, vomiting, vision problems....get yourself an ambulance immediately. You should be ok.

A week ago I fell and hit my head on the concrete. I called nurse on call. She told me if I had a cut that was bleeding go to the ER.
