Eye irritation?!

Eye irritation?
I work in construction. Towards the end of work today my eye was starting to become uncomfortable. When i got home it was really bad. extremely red, hurt, couldnt really open it, eye was watering. so i am assuming i got too much dust or debri in it. how long does an eye irritation like this usually take to clear up? and do u have any suggestions?

If it was just dust the watering should have cleaned it out. You can try eye drops to rinse your eye but you really should go to the doctor because it should like you might have scratched your cornea. You might need prescription eye drops.
