Is jaw pain/stiffness bad?!


Question:

Is jaw pain/stiffness bad?

this is probably a silly thing to be worried about, but my jaw has been really really stiff and sore for about two days now and it's not going away. it only hurts on one side when i open my mouth or move my jaw. i've been trying to work the stiffness out but it only seems to be making it worse. anyone know what could cause this?
