Belly pains?!

Belly pains?

for the past few days i have been getting pains in my chest and abdomen area, i don't think its anything serious, it sorta feels like heartburn but its not if u get what i mean.

it occurs under the ribcage, around my belly button, the sides above my waist and sometimes the lower back

its not overally painful but it is uncomfortable and hurts a bit more when i breathe in.

any ideas on this?

Sounds like you have oesophagitis. If you feel the pain more when you have just eaten, there's a big chance that's what it is. It usually affects people in their mid thirties but could strike at any age. Try using gaviscon, just follow the directions on the bottle & if your symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, see a doctor. It's not a serious illness but people that do repeatedly suffer with it do have a slightly increased chance of getting cancer of the oesophagus, which is quite rare anyway.
