Sexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexsex?!

Question:

Sexsexsexsexsexsexsexsexs...

hehe. just trying to get your attention.
for all those nurses, doctors, whoever, i would like to know if a heartbeat in a 17 yo female is abnormal when it is over 120. it is, isn't it...?
sometimes when i'm in the shower...when it's cranked up really hot in the winter like now...i check my pulse. sometimes it gets to 140ish...150ish...i re-check but...same thing. i don't feel so amazing either.
i guess it's stupid for me to not go to a doctor. i don't want to be worrying people just yet. my dad already had a heart condition.
also when i stand up really fast...and when i excercise, walk up stairs...i lose my breath...and i check the heartbeat, even without a watch i can tell it's pumping away madly, way over the 100-120 bpm. (i avoided pe for the whole of the semester for this very reason. didn't tell the teacher though-he would tell parents.)
should i be worried?
i'm so ignorant also...does dehydration affect this? anaemia? low blood pressure? diabetes? it's all so confusing!!!!

Additional Details

not rude, it's a reasonable question.
i couldn't fit the rest of the details in and only just figured out how to add them.
unfortunately, no, can't attribute the breathlessness to being overweight, hence why i mentioned it.
i think an overweight and unfit person could accept that their breathing while excercising isn't going to be excellent.
i'm probably a little under average and i have a fairly fast metabolism.
i'm about 53 or 54 kg at the moment. (please don't ask me about converting to pounds and ounces and other confusing non-australian used terms)
and i'm about 170 cms.
my weight can go down easily to around 50 and sometimes 49ish depending on if i'm stressed and if my eating habits are non-existent (or just less than usual ;) )
so...yeah, nothing to do with weight.
not amazingly fit but i do some ice skating and walking...
i'm pretty sure it's not a fitness issue either. back in the day of grade 8, played lots of netball, did sprinting in pe one day and nearly fainted.

also when we were doing these excercise things and using these heart monitors while excercising, mine went above 120 lots...this was back in the day of grade 9 when i was still doing netball and stuff.
it seemed to sort-of...not be a big thing in grade 10 and 11...although i was really stressed then, but now i'm just really worried that this is something serious.
besides this thing, you could say i am a perfectly healthy 17 year old. but i'm not...:)

Answers:

This may seem rude, but, how much do you weigh? That could account for being out of breath going up stairs and a high heart rate. The other thing (and this may seem harsh) about your being afraid to worry anyone? They can't worry about you if your dead, can they? See a doctor.
