Usually you wouldn't be treated by a nurse "in the community". That is something of an odd turn of a phrase. You would be treated in a hospital or doctor's office, perhaps. And of course you can refuse to be treated by a particular person.



any patient has the right to refuse to be treated by any health professional. if you have concerns or worries about a nurse, you should really speak to their team leader and them! i know it might feel like you are reporting them or wotever, but if you have concerns, their team leader needs to know about it. also, other patients may feel the same
