Question: Ive had a painful bruise for two weeks. Help?
I got in a car wreck and totaled my car :( I hit my knee really bad and it was nearly impossible to walk and hurt too bad to bend my knee. I got xrays done in the ER and the doctor said I had internal bruising but nothing was broken. Its been two weeks and it still hurts to walk and when its touched. My bruise isnt black anymore but its a gross bloody purple. Im going in for an MRI tomorrow.. but does anyone have an idea what may have happened to my knee?

There may be a tendon tear. The MRI will give more details if there is any significant damage. Hopefully, all you need is aggressive physical therapy.
