Lower back muscle problem?!

Question: Lower back muscle problem?
Hi I'm 17 and I play football every day and go to the gym. I injured my back early in the year. Whenever i kicked the ball i had extreme pain. It's now come back but not as bad. I can hardly feel it and find it hard to recreate the pain if i want to. But when i play football i can feel it. Its right near the pelvis. maybe Multifidus or Longissimus Lumborum muscles. I can usually play football fine, but then suddenly it will kick in and i wouldn't be able to play anymore.
I have seen an osteopath and he cant fin anything, does anyone know any exercises or massages to get rid of it?

Answers:

The pain occurs because of weak core muscles and glutes. Several exercises such as yoga chair pose, clams, side plans, plans, hamstring leg curls and bird-dogs can help with lower back pain. However, if your pain is severe and hurts when you do these exercises, I would suggest that you consult your physician first.
