Should I be worried about numbness in my hand after donating blood?!

Question:

Should I be worried about numbness in my hand after donating blood?

I've donated lots of times but this time I've got numbness in my hand. Way too much for comfort. When the girl stuck me she hit a valve (that's what she said the vibration I felt was anyway). By the end of giving blood my hand was so numb it was starting to hurt, but when I dropped my hand back down I was fine (after a bit).

I've been going all day and everything is good but I just laid down and my hand went numb again. Whenever my hand isn't downhill from the rest of my body I get numbness. What is this? I'm really starting to worry.

To reply to the first guy, it's 1 am where I am, so no. All I could do is go to a hospital and as I'm laid off and uninsured, that's not a good idea.
