Wisdom Teeth Scars?!


Question:

Wisdom Teeth Scars?

Is it possible that after a year and half after having my wisdom teeth taken out I split it back open? I woke up 3 days ago and my gums were sore, then I discovered that there is like a slit in my gums right where my wisdom teeth were taken out. What should I do?

I am headed to Florida tomorrow night, and have no time to get into my dentist/oral surgeon.

I wouldn't think that was possible but I would definitely make an appointment with your dentist. (is it possible that maybe cereal or a chip cut your gum?)
