Does anyone know the minimum weight for a required "HEAVY" label and i!

Question:

Does anyone know the minimum weight for a required "HEAVY" label and if California weight is different?

I was injured at my work trying to lift a box whereas I could not see the contents. It ended up being heavier than anticipated. I eventually needed shoulder surgery where part of my collar bone was removed but I still have issues with the injured shoulder. I was wondering if my employer was negligent in not having a "CAUTION: HEAVY" label on the box if it weighed more than say 40 or 50 pounds.

Answers:

Okay... I'm only 16, and I don't know much about that stuff, but if you find out that he was supposed to have that sticker on the box are you going to sue him? I cannot stand how people sue people for the stupidest things these days. All that does is make everyone else pay for someone's stupid mistake. I'm not saying what you did was stupid, or assuming that you would sue him... I just wanted to say that, because it has always bothered me, and it's the little **** like that all adds up to higher and higher taxes, so &#*@ off liberals!
