the tip of my right pinky turned black bout a week ago, and now it has spread to!

Question: The tip of my right pinky turned black bout a week ago, and now it has spread to most of my right hand?
i got a cut on the tip of my pinky about a month ago, and it didn't heal quite right, it kinda was swollen, but i treated it with neosporin, and all that good stuff. it seemed to be doing okay, but it started to turn black at the tip where it got cut, so i put more neosporin thinking it would go away. I began having to bandage my whole hand in order to stop the strange looks from people, because my whole pinky turned black and isn't very mobile, and it spread to most of my right hand. I'm really freaked out, i just noticed it, because i went to change the bandage just now... What the hell is going on with my freaking hand!?!?

Answers:

Obviously, it's an infection and it's spreading. Get yourself to hospital or a doctor as soon as possible or you may run the risk of losing your hand or even arm. Neosporin does not stop infections; it aids in healing. Your hand cannot heal properly when it's infected. You should have put alcohol or some kind of disinfectant on it. For future reference; read the label and the precautions like the ones that tell you what type of wounds the product can treat. Best of luck.

Dude go to the doctor. You may have gangrene and if left untreated it could spread down your finger and hand!

Let us know how you got on at the doctors, please. Good luck.
