Ongoing back and neck pain. Why is this?!
Question: Ongoing back and neck pain. Why is this?
My back has been hurting for years now and I was just wondering if anyone out there could possibly know what is wrong with it.
Everytime I roll my shoulders back, there is a very loud cracking noise (everyone can hear it) and it happens in a million different spots. I can feel it in my shoulders, back, and shoulderblade/spine area
When I sit for a while in a chair with no back, my middle of my spine starts hurting very badly.
When I move my neck from side to side, I hear cracking and almost like a sandpaper sound. On the bottom of my cervical spine, it is protruding out and is a large bump. I went to a chiropractor before who said it was -30 degrees? Not really sure what that is supposed to mean.
I am 19 years old and this has been happening for as long as I can remember. As a kid my parents would just tell me that my backpack was to heavy. Well, for years now I only use a purse and everything still happens. What is wrong with my back?
Thank you.

Answers:
it might be your bed or how you sleep
I'm no doctor, so maybe you should consider seeing one.
However, I used to have similar back pain because I grew too quickly and the muscle there couldn't keep up. It stopped when I started going to the gym, as the muscle could hold it'self up more easily. Spending a lot of time wearing heavy backpacks or sitting in from of a computer possibly? Try excercising those muscles.
