Question: Pain (think its my Kidney) in my bottom, right side, especially when I breathe deeply...?

I'm not a big drinker, I drink about once a month. But recently I've been having the odd pain in my kidney area in the left hand side. I feel it most when I take a deep breath, or when I'm leaning over to use my laptop. I can tell it isn't just back pain. Also, my urine has been smelling quite strong recently, but not always a bad smell (sometimes like the crisps Quavers lol)...

Is this more likely an infection or stones?

Could be a number of things, don't take anyone's advice on here, as they cannot accurately diagnose you. You should see a doctor. If it is a kidney infection, you want to get it treated ASAP. If it's something else, you want to get it treated ASAP. Don't toy around with your health, make an appointment with your doctor tomorrow and go to urgent care and have them run a urine test, it takes about 5 minutes.

I just found out I have kidney stones three weeks ago and I hope for your sake its just a kidney infection and not stones. But seriously, go see a doctor.

problems from diabetes? Avoid sugar. Get the a1c test.
