Should i tape my wrist to work-out?!

Question: Should i tape my wrist to work-out?
I recently got cleared to work out after having a cast on my broken arm for about five months. I have tried working out but it hurts my wrist really bad.
Should i tape it or wear some sort of brace?
Please help. I would appreciate serious medical answers.
Thanks.

There is no medical need of taping your wrist after it is fully healed. But psychologically taping is important. I always taped my fractures after healing. Taping is better than a brace.

Own experience

no hun, don't do the tape. U said u had it on for five months. during those five months in ur cast, did u move your wrist around a lot? because when u have a cast on, sometimes we tend to barely move out wrist around without realizing it, causing it to tighten up. then when we finally get our cast off, our wrist has to get used to moving again! so, if I were u, I would take my wrist, and soak it in warm water with lots of epsom salt and apple cidar vinegar. u haveto keep doing it in order for it to work, though. keep in mind that the more u do it, the more you'll notice the pain subsiding. if the pain does not subside after about, hmmm...a week, go to ur doctor. He may perscribe u with some strong muscle relaxers or something of that nature. I hope this helps :)

I'd lay off the drugs for a bit, and don't lift any weights only maybe 2/5 pounds
