Why am I awlways knackered in the morning?!
Question:
Why am I awlways knackered in the morning?
I work 9-5, get up about 8:10 and leave the house around 8:30 for the tube to work. It takes about 10 mins to get to the tube. I usually get to sleep about 12:30am. Anyway for the first hour or so at work I feel half awake and irritable, how can I stoop this? My bed is too short for my legs, will this affect my quality of sleep? How can I maintain a good sleeping pattern? I'm a good worker and not lazy so any tips would be helpful.
Answers:
Sleep on your back or on the side - good for posture. Go to sleep at least 2 hours after your dinner - good for digestion and sleeping. When you go to sleep - empty your thoughts so you can go to sleep within about 5 to 10 minutes - easier to wake up.
Have some breakfast - weetabix (wholegrain cereals) or porridge and eat an apple or banana - gives you good energy. Maybe eat some dried apricots on the tube, bruv. Also have either a smoothie, orange juice or cranberry juice with your breakfast. ALWAYS have breakfast. If you drink coffee slow down your intake - maybe to a halt and try my methods (i dont drink coffee) - if you need caffeine then maybe a couple of times a week in the morning.
Peace out bruv
