I'm not very knowledgeable in the medical benefits, but whenever I go in the ocean any open cuts I might have feel less painful and heal more quickly afterward, so I suppose it at least disinfects cuts and such. It just feels really good, so I assume it is good for you in some ways.

Its no different, sodium content-wise, than regular salt. Bigger grains so it looks prettier, thats all.

in moderation of course.. I believe if it isn't tampered with by man it's good?
