sleeping too much? is it bad?!


Question: Sleeping too much? is it bad?
Ok, so I am in my first year and college and, according to my roommates, I have been sleeping too much. I would get up early for classes, take naps between classes (usually 2-3 hour naps) and after doing homework I would go back to bed to really late. But during the days that I do not have homework I would literally sleep the whole day. I would usually skip 2 meals (breakfast and dinner) because I am sleeping so much. Today I only had lunch. But I do not feel hungry for the few hours that I am up. I am constantly in bed because I feel tired after a while. Is there something wrong here? Is sleeping too much bad for you? PS- I've also noticed that I have been getting back pains. Is this connected to the whole sleeping too much?
