What's wrong with me?!

Question: What's wrong with me?
Throughout high school to now (21 years old) my upper-back has been throbbing and has had a burning sensation on the spot between my shoulder blades and spine on both sides. I have also had a lot of neck pain, horrible head-aches (that run from the back of my neck, to the back of my head and up above my eyes. I can always tell what kind of head ache it is opposed to a sinus headache because the feeling is completely different), and my thumbs and eyes have been twitching. Lately, my elbows have been throbbing and I will get a numb tingling sensation. It feels like there is a ton of bricks on my shoulders. I have been to the chiropractor and he says it is a nerve, he solves it for a while but it always comes back. i'm starting to wonder if it's a medical thing any clue what I could do, or what is wrong with me?

Answers:

I am not a physician, but have experienced some of your symptoms, and it was a pinched nerve in my back/shoulder blade area. I was diagnosed via an MRI and cured by physical therapy, heat, massage and exercises. The elbow thing you describe is very familiar and very uncomfortable, and the nerve that caused it (twice) took some weeks to settle down after beginning treatment. I really think massage was the best help; wish I could afford to have it done every week. Good luck, I truly feel your pain.

Personal experience.

talk to your dr. it almost sounds like fibromyalgia
