I keep wakening up smelling burnt toast ?!

Ok, you may laugh at this, but I would say it is a spirit trying to contact you. After my grandma died I was staying at my moms house and woke the next morning to the smell of her pancakes. I can't hers just had a certain scent to them. I headed to the kitchen thinking my mom had mastered this and ran into her as she was also heading into the kitchen. We looked at each other totally baffled. She had smelled it too. Then it was gone. Every now and then we will be woke up in the morning to that smell with no logical reason. Is there a family member who used to always burn the toast or something you could associate this time of year with? You can think I'm nuts and that's fine, cause if it isn't ghosts, then you have something psycologically wrong..lol
