BTW:if your just going to say go to a doctor go do answer at all cuz im not wasting time going to a doctor for a finger!

Sorry that happened !
Rest your hand,elevate it, apply ice pack 20 min on and 20 min off.
You may apply a splint or "buddy-tape " it to the next finger for support.
Take Motrin or Advil or Ibuprofe(all the same med) 400-600 mg every 6 hrs for pain . Take w/food or milk.
For any worsening symptoms,consider going to urgent care or MD.

PS Antibiotics will not help pain. Do not use.
Ice and ibuprofen to bring down the swelling. But if you hit it hard enough that you can't write, work or move it, a doctor may be necessary even if it is "just a finger". It is possible to fracture the bones in your finger if you hit it hard enough. You can also use some medical tape to tape it to the finger next to it for some support if it helps you not to move it as much. There are also finger braces at pharmacies that you can use to immobilize it.
Antibiotics are for an infection and are useless for a bruised finger.
