Drink a couple beers a day with psudaphed and musinex ok?!

Question: Drink a couple beers a day with psudaphed and musinex ok?
I know about painkillers being a bad mix for thinning blood and liver/kidney stuff, but what about just two beers and the other meds. I'm on no painkillers fyi. tx

Answers:

peudaphed and musinex together might be a little overkill, but I know that at least pseudaphed should not have any horrible interactions with alcohol. the issue with tylenol and alcohol is that they are both essentially liver toxins, and that's why taking them together is very bad. pseudophed is mostly a stimulant and alcohol is a depressant anyway (so they would cancel each other out) and decongestants aren't known for wreaking havoc on your liver so you should be fine. just don't kiss anyone when your sick butt goes out partying. mucinex should be fine too- just make sure there's no acetaminophen in the ingredients for the kind you take.

Short answer no, it's not OK. 2 beers takes you over the recommended daily amount of alcohol and over a fairly short time will cause lasting liver damage.

try reading their labels, then you should know.
