Question: I am very sore to the mere touch on my left upper side, just below my armpit, and above my left breast...?
I was due to start my period on the 7th. But it's already the 11th. My cycle is usually always a couple days off, but I've been cramping the past 5 or 6 days, like I should have already started, but I haven't yet. This doesn't concern me as much. as why my skin is so extremely sore just below my armpit and above my left breast. And before anyone asks if I'm pregnant, I'm am not, because I am a lesbian, and I have a partner. I'm 24 btw, so I don't know if that means anything. I had a obgyn do a breast examine and pap-smear in Feb. of 2010, and I checked out fine. So should I be concerned at all? Or is it just a muscle pain or I did pull something? Thank you! :-)

Answers:

Pinched muscles in the back are known for sending the pains around the body on the nerves to become pains in the sides or front of your body. Pinched muscles in the back can also press into the nerves going to your ovaries to cause pains in them and to mess up your cycle. To get rid of the pinched muscles you have to free up your back muscles and here's how to do that:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

have u started birth control or some sort of hormonal supplement recently? if so that might be contributing. it could also be some sort of illness (even something as basic as cold since that is near a major lymph node). hopefully it should go away in a week. if not, see a doctor.

My big toe is really sore. I'm gay, I love my partner, my testicles are fine.I'm on hormone treatment but I have stomach cramps. Should I be worried at all ?
