How do I help my finger?

Yesterday my finger got hurt badley. It kind of twisted and pushed back hard. Its so fat now, and it can't bend all the way, and its dark red and surprisingly blue all over. How do I make it less painful and shrink back to normal size?

Its only dark red and blue the side where my palm is. On the outside, the skin looks stretched.
