Damaged a thumb ligament before?
Just wondering if anyone has damaged any thumb ligaments. Wierd one for ya: the upper thumb can't move, not the lower joint. How long of recovery time. I have it in a splint, thumbs up style--as per the Dr.

yeah i tore a ligament in my thumb playing flag football - i had a cast for 4 weeks. i don't remember which ligament i tore or how much it hurt tho - i don't think it bothered me coz i went riding after school instead of going to a hospital....
