Question: Small red lines around my random cut?
So I looked at my hand earlier, and there it was. A baby cut. But there are some lines almost coming out of it. It kind of looks like the sun's rays in a little kid's drawing. I just want to know what they are.
PS it is also blotchy and pink around the cut.

Wash the area real well, apply some antibiotic cream and a band-aid. Sounds like it's getting infected.

red lines. i would go see a doctor right now. it could be blood poisoning which you can die from.
uncle had this problem had to take a few shots to rid of it.
agreed with the EMT there, if you begin to feel nauseous, dizzy or suffer a fever then its important to see a doctor sooner rather than later
