Infected Mosquito bite???
Help, I went disc golfing with my bf at like 6:30 pm in maine. I got 2 bites. I saw both mosquitos bite me too. One I had to pry out of me on my wrist, and now it is swollen on half my hand and the bite spot feels hard and like I have a bead under my skin. It itches but it hurts too. Also I am getting a pain going up my arm. Am I being a total Hypocondriac moron? Not sure if its worth bothering going to the ER for this. My doc works 3 hours a day and its hard to leave work.

I am allergic to mosquitos and this sounds kind of familiar. Try some Benelyn. If an anti-histamine doesn't clear it up, you might wat to get checked for West Nile. (it probably isn't, but just in case). Also, when I was pregnant and got bit by mosquitos it gave me blood poisoning. The are where I was bit was very tender and hard, like a circle around the bite, Then is was swollen and a red line started to go up my arm. If you see this red line go to the Doc Immediately. Blood poisoning can make you very, very sick and put you in the hospital, if not treated in time.
