Question: So scared got my mri results back please?
i didnt hear back from my docter, but went to where they did my mri , and after i read them dont understand them , but im scared, heres what it says,scattered nonspecific signal abnormalities are seen in the periventricular and subcortical white matter more on the right than the left, possible small 12 mm anachnoid cyst superior to the cerebellum. the patiant has punctate foci of increased intensity on the flair and t2 weighted images in the frontal lobes . now i am scared does anyone know what this is, is it dangerous, did anyone ever have this, what can be done, please help me if you can , gonna make a docters appoint,ent, thanks

It's best that you look up the words rather than ask people what this is about. From what I've read, this is hereditary so then you must have some inkling of what's going on.

Assuming you had an MRI because you had something wrong with you in the first place, I guess its serious! The report is listing things that are not found in normal MRI investigations, and their presence may explain your symptoms and progression.



You should wait to see the doctor.



if u got the notes the doc should of told you what they mean try asking an online doctor. x
