I have a sharp piece of herb stuck in my tonsil. How will the doctor get it out?
It's really uncomfortable and after being told to go to the emergency department, I was told after four hours of waiting to just see a doctor later this morning. My question is how will the doctor get this out? It just won't budge. It's like a splinter but in my left tonsil. You can actually see it as well. Has anybody had a similar experience, and if so, how was it resolved? Thanks!

I had a similar issue with my tonsils.I went to a dentist, who then referred me to an ENT specialist and problem was solved by him. I was also given some medicated mouthwash.
