Your live is located on the right side of your body and is located on the right side of the upper abdomen below the diaphragm anatomy. The liver lies to the right of the stomach and overlies the gallbladder.

When speaking medically...it is always stated as
to the patient's perspective. If you take your right hand
and lower it on the right side with the fingers pointing
toward the center of the body. Place it under the breast
on top of the rib cage. This is where your liver is located.

The liver has two main lobes. The right lobe is larger
than the left lobe. The right lobe is farthest to the right
side. the left lobe is attached to the right lobe and
extends over the middle of the abdominal area.

The picture is shown under the caption: "inside the torso"

The liver is located in the upper right hand quadrant
of the abdomen, under the rib cage. The liver cannot
be felt unless the patient has liver cell damage that
causes the liver to enlarge in size. Then the doctor
may only feel the very lowest portion of the liver.

Hope this information has been of some help to you.
Best wishes
