Should I pull my toe nail off?!

Question:

Should I pull my toe nail off?

I ran a door over my foot and it almost took off one of my little toe nails, it is now only attached to my toe down one side of it. Should I pull it off or wait until it falls off naturally?

Answers:

If you let it fall off naturally, it won't bleed or rip and in turn, least likely to get an infection. Feet are busy and dirty, so you'll have a larger chance of getting an infection if you rip it off. You can always cut it down some so it's not hanging so much but still, let it fall off on it's own.

Your toe will get a tough tough skin underneath it and as that tough skin comes in, the toenail will fall enough...so less pain and better for you.

Good luck!
