Question: Got hit in the head with a basketball?

so today in the morning i got hit in the head with a basketball and at first it hurt but then the pain kinda a went a way and now it's hurting like a headache like it did in the morning but not so bad.i didn't get knocked out or anything i just got hit in the head and it hurt so what should i do, i put ice on it now when i got home.And how long will it last.

This happened to a friend of mine years ago and she just put ice on it. Eventually the pain went away

If you have no other symptoms you are fine,your head just hurts because you got hit in the head so it's completely normal. If you get symptoms of a concussion then go to the doctor or hospital. Just take some pain killers and go to bed. You would have had to get hit extremely hard to get a concussion from a basketball.

It's probably your head ittself hurts from the hit and should go away soon, but it can be a concusion that would most likely take a week or two to get better
