you must have had a hard bowel movement. You may have a hemorrhoid or a small tear. Try some hemorrhoid cream for the pain and inflammation. If it doesn't get better in a week, see your doctor.

Sounds to me like you either have a small tear or possibly some swollen veins around the area. Did you have any bleeding with the pain?? Best thing to do is sit in a bathtub with warm water and some Epsom salts for about 15 minutes at least once or twice a day. The epsom salts help the swelling if any to go down and help the irritation to fade. If this doesn't feel better in the next day or so then you should make an appointment to be checked out by a doctor.
