Question: Is it ok to put vitamin e oil on an open wound?
I just scraped up my arm and then put vitamin e oil on it because I had heard it can help.. Should I have waited for it to stop bleeding / scab over?? Now I am worried. lol

That was it.

Well... E might not be the thing to use. E actually retards healing because it's such a good anti-oxidant. Keeps scabs from forming.

Probably use nothing - wash it up and cover it - and just let itself bleed out. Wounds bleed in order to get enough blood out there to form a scab and cover themselves.

If it gets really infected, you'd put the oil from a vitamin A pill on it.

STOP THINKING FOR YOURSELF, RINSE IT OFF (REGULAR SOAP AND WATER, ANTIBIOTIC CREAM, BANDAGE, REPEAT THE NEXT DAY... you may live to see another day.O_o
