she doesn't wanna take pills because she doesn't wanna get hooked,
if so does any body have any instructions, references, that can help me with learning this?

With Fibromyalgia you don't want to massage too deeply. Use more of a light pressure. It is best to massage for a shorter period of time, more often than one long massage. But, massage is very good for that. FM sufferers rate therapeutic massage as the top non-drug treatment for muscle pain. Massage where ever she has pain, stiffness, lack of range of motion, etc.
The first couple of massages might aggravate the condition, but after that you should have a lot of relief from symptoms.
