I feel like there is a pulse in my knee?!

Question: I feel like there is a pulse in my knee?
What could cause this? I am sick with sinus, ear and viral infection and there is also mold in the house making me sick so we are moving this month.

I am 14 female

My whole body also hurts, deep pain, by the way it feels like there is a pulse deep in my knee but I don't feel one.
I had sever pain in my left leg got it checked out they said it sounds like a pull. I am on some meds for the sinus infection and this is my 2nd time taking these, and I think they cause me to see flashing lights last time I took them I had this issue but there only for 5 days.

Answers:

There are major blood vessels that travel through your knee, so feeling the pulse there shouldn't be anything to get worried over. It sounds like your knee might be inflamed from the minor surrounding damage/ swelling, and this would put pressure on your blood vessels that may cause you to feel the throbbing sensation. when you're sick or allergic, more fluid than normal can leak out from your vessels and cause this swelling (can lead to a plugged nose for example).

overall it sounds like your problems are all coming from your illness so hopefully it will all clear up in a week or so.

You are feeling blood pulsing in your popliteal artery. This is completely normal.

Make sure you are properly hydrated.
