There are two different detox medications. One is Methadone, which is also used to detox heroin addicts. the newest and most effective as far as I've heard, is Suboxone. There are only certain doctors that can give out Suboxone, and they can only have a certain amount of patients. Your best bet is to see an addictionologist. They can help you either taper down the medication safely or get you into a Methadone or Suboxone program.
