Eyelid twitch/spasm and headache on left side?!

Question: Eyelid twitch/spasm and headache on left side?
For almost a week my upper left eye lid has been spasming/twitching off and on, and the past few days I have been getting a headache on my left side. The pain is more dull (not sharp) and has a pressure feeling, the majority of the pain being in my temple and even down into my neck. The pressure feeling is mostly in my left ear. This could be totally irrelevant, but the other day I could not hear out of my left ear. This only lasted for about a minute or two and hasn't happened since.

Also may be unrelated:
Sometimes I get a sharp shooting pain from my temple and it shoots down into my jaw. It's hard to describe. Maybe like an electric shock, even. It only lasts less than a minute and then it's gone. It's like the worst feeling ever, though. However, I've had that for like my whole life, so it's probably nothing.

Has anyone had similar symptoms or know what it could be? I don't think it's eye strain or stress related, and that's all I am finding when I look up the major symptoms: eye twitching and headaches. And I'd rather not bother with a doctor's appointment if they're just going to tell me it's migraines.

Three people in my family have that and they say it's like the worst pain they ever felt. Their's is called Trigemenal Neuralgia. The pain goes down one side as you described it, to the jaw. Lyrica is really, really great and it will stop the pain and it usually won't come back if you stay on it. It's not a pain pill. I have the same pain, but mine doesn't go down to the jaw and I have Multiple Sclerosis.

Take Lyrica for this pain, for 3 years.

It appears in this case you need to see your doctor and establish what is going on!
Once you do then you can look into pain or stress management.
All the best.

Hello, I'm a doctor. Use soma. I think that you want to get more info about it. Please go to ----> http://canmdh56.notlong.com/AAwjbCS

The eyelid twitching / spasming might actually be a virus in your body. Viruses don't always have to cause illness like stomachaches and sore throats... sometimes viruses do other weird, funky things to your body. Eyelid twitching is actually a common virus. I am not sure if the headaches are related to any possible virus, though. Your body might be stressed out, causing the headaches.

I would actually advise that you go to a website like webmd and see if you can plug in your symptoms for the eye spasms and see what they have to say.

If you have already looked up on webmd (you said you looked it up, but not sure where) then I would advise calling a triage nurse at your local hospital or a nurse hotline (if you have health insurance, a lot of times these are provided to you through your plan) and seeing what they have to say. They might advise you come in for a visit, but they might have some great information for you that you don't need to see a doctor for.

Other than that, get plenty of rest, your body needs it!
