Can yoga really help my posture? what about my awkward walk?!

Question: Can yoga really help my posture? what about my awkward walk?
i've been told i have a bad posture and i think it looks like my upper body is pushed forward. also, i walk really horribly and i think this is connected to my bad posture/back. so can yoga really help and if i start doing yoga everyday, when can i expect to start seeing results?

Anthony,

Yes yoga helps your posture as it corrects and makes your entire core, muscles stronger and balance. It will also help with your walking gate. You will see results in a few weeks. You have to stick to it and at first do yoga daily for a few weeks. Hope i have helped.

Yoga practice can help you to correct your posture. Yoga practice will provide you the required strength. Maintain an erect and balanced posture while sitting, standing or walking. Idea is to hold an erect posture without introducing stiffness in the body. Incorrect posture can be corrected by you after identifying the defect and consciously trying to correct it.Here is some more information
