Question: Toe swollen and numb?
no wound or anything. I was running on the grass with my dog and then suddenly a piece of grass was between my last toe and second last toe. It itched and ached and throbbed but there was no pain after I put it under cold water. A few hours later I put ice on it for about 20 minutes but it is still swollen. It doesn't hurt, but it feels a bit numb and it looks weird and it is swollen. I can still walk but its really strange. please help.

Look up the acronym RICE-HA.
Running around bare foot in grass, can lead to a lot of problems. But it would seem as though you have stepped on some poison ivy, or something similar. The swelling is your skin acting toward whatever it was, that your allergic too. Call your local pharmacists for any over the counter cream for this.
