Question: Head injury 18 years ago?
When I was about 10 years old I had a very heavy duty strong metal box spring (weighed at least 100 lbs) that was leaning against a dresser while my mom was fixing the bed frame, the box spring fell and the metal corner landed on the top right side of my head and split my head open causing a lot of bleeding etc. I was taken to the hospital where the doctors didn't do any testing or anything and just stitched it back up. When I was about 16 I began having migraines but my doctor never said it would be related or anything. I am now 28 years old and have stabbing pains randomly where it hurts to bend over RIGHT on the scar where this happened. I did have 3 stitches in the cut and to my knowledge those were never removed. It is scarred and looks normal but hurts like crazy on the spot to this day. Anyone know what could be the reason?

Maybe it is scar tissue.It has built up.I know scar tissue hurts.
I think you should see a Dr and don't wait.
Dee! Your old enough to get on over to a doctor and ask. Asking such a question on line and 18 years after the fact, isn't the norm. I have no idea, so, very sorry.
